Development of Door Nanny

The Door Nanny - Child/Pet Safety Latch, like most inventions,  was born out of necessity when the founder of GooGooProof,  noticed consistent complaints about traditional door-top latches. #1 - They were hard to install #2 They required the use of a drill and tools for installation. #3 They did not work for short adults or on doors that were taller than a standard 80” door. #4 They caused damage that required repair when removing the devices. .

GooGooProof realized the need of Parents for a non-damaging, tool-free door latch that:

  1. Could be installed on the top or vertical side of the door

  2. Worked from both sides of the door
